Online multiplayer coming to Mari0, madness ensues

So... six-player multiplayer is coming to the incredible Super Mario Bros and Portal crossover game Mari0. As Joystiq points out, that's about 12 portals maximum in use. All I can say is: awesome. Developer Stab Yourself didn't give a window on when the multiplayer mayhem would be released, sadly. But hopefully it won't be too long.

In the meantime, try roping some friends or family into doing some four-player offline cooperative play. It'll like New Super Mario Bros all over again, but crazier.
